Richard A. Roland

Richard A. Roland, 89, of Schuylkill Haven, passed away Friday, December 26, 2025 at 4:35 pm at Orwigsburg Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. Born in Shillington, Mr. Roland was the son of the late Daniel James Roland and Esther (Rissmiller) Roland. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Pottsville and served in the United States Army. Mr. Roland is survived by his children Leda Rios of Greensboro, North Carolina; Kyle Roland husband of Tina Roland of Orwigsburg; Adam Roland of Shoemakersville; Gail Frank wife of Greg Frank of Oley; Beth Roland partner of Joshua Hayes of Schuylkill Haven; Joel Roland husband of Karson Roland of Elizabethtown; Sara Ernst of Orwigsburg; Vera Roland of Hamburg and his 21 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

Celebration of Life Service will be held at Bean Funeral Home 3825 Penn Ave. Sinking Spring Monday January 5, 2026 at 11:00 am. Amy S. Landis, Celebrant will officiate. Interment will follow at Pleasant View Cemetery. The family will receive relatives and friends at Bean Funeral Home Monday from 10:00 am to 11:00 am.
