Robert J. Blewett Sr.

Robert J. Blewett Sr., 85, of Lakeville, formerly of Willow Grove, passed away on Wednesday, April 8, 2026, at Penn State Health, Hershey Medical Center, with his loving family by his side. He was the loving husband to Veronica Mary (Donahue) Blewett for over 63 years of marriage. Born in Philadelphia, Robert was the son of the late Charles Blewett and Catherine (Walsh) Blewett. Robert worked as a concrete estimator for over 40 years, retiring from Madison Concrete.

In addition to his wife Veronica, Robert is survived by his children, Eileen P. Blewett, of Wyomissing, Robert J. Blewett Jr. husband of Theresa, of Drexel Hill, Frances E. McCulla, wife of Michael, of Exeter Township, and Sheila Goettner, wife of Max, of North Wales. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Ciera, Aubrey, Matthew, Hanna, Max, Emma, Robert III, Catherine, Mollie, Veronica, and great grandchildren, Robert, Alanna, Tiberius, Eleanor, and many loving nieces and nephews.

Robert is predeceased by his 8 sisters, and 2 brothers.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, April 18, 2026, at 12:00 PM in St. Ignatius Loyola Roman Catholic Church, 2600 St. Albans Drive, Reading, PA 19609. The family will receive guests at the church from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Robert’s Memory to Project Healing Waters, projecthealingwaters.org.
