Robert "Bob" Milton Blechman

Robert “Bob” Milton Blechman, 90, of Brecknock Township, passed away Tuesday, November 11, 2025, at 3:30 pm in his residence. Known to his family as “Bunny”, Mr. Blechman is survived by his wife Ursita A. (Aparre) Blechman. Born in Coatesville, he was the son of the late Louis and Pearl (Waldman) Blechman. Mr. Blechman was a loving and caring husband and member of the Church of Saint Benedict, Mohnton and was a member of F&AM Blue Lodge in Springfield, Delaware County; was a member of the Shrine and a ham radio operator who loved his candy. Mr. Blechman served as a United States Navy Fire Control Officer and was an Entrepreneur/Inventor in electronics and engineering and held multiple patents. He was the CEO and founder of BVS, Inc. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children Barry S. Blechman husband of Laura S. Blechman of Brecknock Township; Robin L. Smith wife of David W. Smith of Brecknock Township; Jacqueline A. Boltz wife of Charles R. Boltz of Ephrata and his 6 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Mr. Blechman was preceded in death by Ruth Slider Blechman, wife of 56 years and by his brothers Ronald, Paul, and Leonard.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the Church of Saint Benedict, 2020 Chestnut Hill Road, Plowville, Mohnton, Friday, November 21, 2025, at 11:00 am. Reverend Stanley Moczydlowski, Celebrant. Interment with Military Honors rendered by the United States Navy Honor Guard will take place at the convenience of the family at Hephzibah Baptist Church Cemetery, East Fallowfield Township. Interment will be private with family. The family will receive relatives and friends at the Church of Saint Benedict Friday from 9:30 am to 10:45 am.
