Robert Giles

Robert C. Giles, 87, of Cumru Township, passed away December 13, 2010 at 2:00 pm in The Reading Hospital & Medical Center. He was the husband of Helen (Pantalone) Giles to whom he was married to for 61 years. Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Ralph Giles, Sr. and Edith (Eisenbise) Kissinger. Mr. Giles was a district manager for Reading Eagle Company and then a truck driver for Yorgey's Cleaners. He served in the United States Army during WWII. In addition to his wife he is survived by his daughter Darlene wife of Randy G. Harding of Wernersville, grandson Dean Churchill of Sinking Spring and great grandsons Zackary and Drew A. Churchill along with his sisters Betty Bowers of Wyomissing and Jane Boyer a resident of Berks Heim.
