Robert B. Haley

Robert Bruce “Bobby” Haley, 68, of Reading, went into the arms of God peacefully in the critical care unit at Penn State Health-St. Joseph Hospital, where he received compassionate care. Born in Reading Bobby was the son of the late E. Donald and Helen M. (Williams) Haley. He was one of many cousins from his mother’s family. Bobby was a wonderful, loving soul and friendly to everyone. He was grateful to Aunt Sara for caring for him for many years. Also, Rittenhouse Village offered him excellent assisted living care. Bobby was an employee of Pro Berco for most of his life. He loved to work there and enjoyed the activities and friendships offered to all with special needs. His family thanks Pro Berco for his care in their living facility. Bobby had many interests. He enjoyed attending or watching the Phillies games and was a Pittsburgh Steelers fan and enjoyed bowling, swimming, music and dancing. He collected caps of the teams and many, many more. Bobby loved to decorate for the holidays and made many of the decorations. Coloring pictures was a big part of his life. He was a positive person with a smile and was willing to help anyone and loved to clean anywhere. Bobby received an award for welcoming customers at McDonald’s on Lancaster Ave. where he was employed. In his later life he would tell everyone about his “girlfriends” and wanted to get married. Attending Church and his love for God was very important to Bobby. His refreshing innocence with a shy sense of humor and his smile will be missed by everyone.

Funeral Service will be held at Bean Funeral Home 1605 Rockland Street, Hampden Heights, Friday, June 5, 2026 at 1:00 pm. Reverend Rebecca Knox will officiate. Interment will follow at Alsace Cemetery. The family will receive relatives and friends at Bean Funeral Home Friday from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm. Online condolences may be made at www.beanfuneralhomes.com
