Ronald Lee DeLong

Ronald Lee DeLong, 80, of Exeter Township, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 3, 2024 at The Berkshire Commons. He was the husband of the late Linda (Cuzner) DeLong, who passed away on March 14, 2022. Born in Reading, PA, he was the son of the late Eric and Miriam DeLong (Bailey). During his life, he worked as a machine operator for WR Grace, now known as Cryovac. 

Ronald loved his animals, his Camaros and motorcycles. He also enjoyed dirt track racing and meeting with his buddies every day at the diner for either breakfast, lunch, dinner or coffee. His favorite NASCAR driver was Jeff Gordon and he was a fan of the Philadelphia Eagles and Phillies. 

Ronald is survived by his daughters, Tammy Sowers, wife of Christopher Sowers, of Exeter Township; Lisa Werner, wife of Albert Werner, of Exeter Township; granddaughter, Sophie Sowers; brother, Randy DeLong of Hamburg; and sister, Cindy Haddix, of Hamburg. 

He was predeceased by his brother Richard DeLong.
