Rosalie Ann Loeper

Rosalie Ann Loeper, 80, of Reading, PA entered eternal rest on Thursday, September 25, 2025, at her home, surrounded by her loving family, after battling pancreatic cancer. She was the loving wife of Conrad Loeper for 59 years of marriage.

Rosalie was born in Reading, in April of 1945, daughter of the late, John and Helen (Madzin) Sech. Rosalie graduated from Reading High School, in 1963.

Rosalie belonged to the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Ukrainian Catholic Church, Reading, PA where she was a member of the Sodality and very active in church functions like bake sales, bazaars and church picnics. She then became a member of St. Paul’s RCC and the Holy Family Society. She also volunteered for Mary’s Shelter as a kitchen team member for bingo.

Rosalie worked as an administrative assistant at Borough of West Reading for 25 years, retiring in 2008. Achievements included Commissioned Diocese of Allentown-Institute of Lay Ministry Program in May 2011, a CPS Associate of Missionary Sisters of the Precious Blood, and Extraordinary Minister of the Eucharist at Tower Health.

Rosalie enjoyed traveling, gardening, decorating for the holidays, sewing, cooking, baking, and reading the Bible and “God’s Word Today” and “Living Faith” prayer books. She also enjoyed trips to the beach, with her family and friends at Polka Motion by the ocean. She especially enjoyed dancing with her husband at polka dances and church picnics with her friends. She was on the Southwest Jr. High School reunion committee.

When Rosalie received her pancreatic diagnosis November 1, 2021, she made a pilgrimage to Padre Pio Shrine in Barto, PA with her family. Thanks to many prayers, our “Miracle Mama”, our hero, our friend, was able to travel back to the shrine in August 2025, to thank Padre Pio for the miracle of time.

In addition to her husband, Rosalie is survived by her three children, Deborah Willeman, wife of Dean, Lebanon, PA, Brian Loeper, husband of Brandi, Moreland, GA, Dennis Loeper, Fleetwood, PA, grandchildren, Andrew and Hannah, daughter in law Heather, cousins, nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Rosalie was predeceased by her brother, Michael Potojecki.

The family would like to express their sincere appreciation for the care that was given by Tower Health medical, oncology, and hospice teams.

Please join the family in celebrating Rosalie’s life with visitation to Bean Funeral Home, 3825 Penn Ave. Sinking Spring, 19608 on Friday, October 10, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM

Visitation will also be held at St. Paul’s Roman Catholic Church, 151 N 9th Street, Reading, PA, Saturday, October 11, 2025, from 9:15 AM to 9:45 AM, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM.

Entombment to follow in Gethsemane Cemetery, Chapel of St. George.
