Rosemarie Dunkelberger

Rosemarie Dunkelberger, 100, passed away Sunday, November 1, 2026 at 1:35 pm at the Highlands at Wyomissing Personal Care. She was the wife of the late Robert E. Dunkelberger who passed away in 1981. Born in Reading, Mrs. Dunkelberger was the daughter of the late Louis and Louise (Piccino) Farr. She was a member of Saint Margaret of Scotland Roman Catholic Church and was a Health Occupation Teacher at Berk County Vocational-Technical School in Oley from 1968-1988. Mrs. Dunkelberger was State Facilitator for HOSA (Health Occupation Students of America) for Department of Education in Harrisburg from 1988-2012. Mrs. Dunkelberger served as National HOSA Board Chair from 1987-1988 and as National HOSA Competitive Events Chair from 1989-2006. She was inducted as an Honorary Life Member of HOSA in 1989. She is survived by her daughter Robin L. Farr wife of Richard H. Bromfield of Doylestown and her grandchildren Lauren A. Wright and Zachary A. Matis and great granddaughter Gia Leone Wright. Mrs. Dunkelberger was preceded in death by her brother Nelson Farr.

Funeral Procession will depart Bean Funeral Home 1605 Rockland Street, Hampden Heights Tuesday, November 10, 2026 at 9:15 am. Prayer Service will be held at the Chapel of Saint George at Gethsemane Cemetery, 3139 Kutztown Road, Laureldale at 10:00 am. The family will receive relatives and friends at Bean Funeral Home Tuesday from 8:00 am to 9:15 am.
