Sadie Louisa West

Sadie Louisa West passed away peacefully Sunday June 29th 2025 at 245 am in the Hampden Height’s home of her son Terry Royal West. She was the wife for 64 years of Robert Royal West who passed away December 15th 2015. Born Nov. 14th 1931 on Cedar St. Reading Pa. She was the daughter of the late Charles Frederick Bohn and Lillian May (Schweitzer)Bohn. As a young girl she worked at Laura Needles Confectionery Store and Mary Cirulli’s Diner West Reading , then the Mohegan Market on Penn St. as a clerk at the bakery counter, Luden’s Candies and housekeeper for Gerturde Sternbergh at Sterling Mansion Centre Ave. from 1980 until 1997. In addition to her work history Sadie was a marvelous mother and home maker everything done first class and her children and family came first always giving 100 % Sadie is survived by her children Robert A. West husband of Robin West of Grill , Terry Stanley Royal West of Hampden Heights, Rickie West of Muhlenberg Park , Royal Q. West of Reading and Shawn West of New Holland and her 11 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Sadie was preceded by her daughter Cindy Ann Loeb in June 2019 and her siblings, Robert Bohn, Stanley J. Bohn, John E. Bohn, Charles F. Bohn Jr., Charlotte E. Bohn, Willard D. Bohn, Donald T. Bohn, Dorothy M, Hartenstine, James R. Bohn, Irene N. Dentzer. A memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family.
