Samuel F. Bartman, Sr.

Samuel F. Bartman, Sr., 83, of Wernersville, passed away on Thursday, May 22, 2025, in Hershey Medical Center. Born in Reading, he was the son of the late Mabel (Frederick) and Samuel G. Bartman. He was the loving husband of Sandra F. (Betz) Bartman and together they would have 64 years of marriage in June. He graduated from Reading High School in 1959. Samuel worked in Maintenance for the City of Reading Water Authority before retiring. He enjoyed fishing and boating mainly in Canada, Ocean City, Maryland, and Rehoboth Beach, Delaware. He loved watching Western movies, especially ones with John Wayne. Samuel will always be remembered for his famous line, “We’ll See”.

In addition to his wife, Sandra, Samuel is survived by his children, Samuel F. Bartman, Jr., husband of Holly of Exeter Township and Shelly Kreiser, wife of Keith of Wernersville. Also surviving are his grandsons, Samuel F. Bartman, III, husband of Ciera, Shawn R. Bartman, boyfriend of Caitlin, and Kyle J. Kreiser, husband of Daniel, and his great grandson, Jaxon.
