Sara A. Thrasher

Sara A. Thrasher, 69, of Spring Township, passed away Tuesday, July 30, 2024 at 12:11 am in Reading Hospital. She was the wife of the late Terry L. Thrasher who passed away July 2021. Born in Doylestown, Mrs. Thrasher was the daughter of the late Charles and Helen E. (Kintzel) Shuster. She received her Master’s Degree in Human Services and was a LPN and Psychologist. Mrs. Thrasher is survived by her daughter Melissa A. Shingle of Spring Township; her grandchildren Rylee and Maksim Shingle and her sister Joan Walters  of Johnstown. She is also survived by her Nephew, Kevin Mckee and wife, Erin Mckee of Ocean Pines, MD, and Nephew Brian McKee and wife, Maria McKee of Zionsville, PA. Mrs. Thrasher loved her animals with all of her heart and her dogs, Freddy and Prissy were like children to her. She had a deep passion for her horse, Topaz who she cared for and loved for many years before he passed.
