Thomas Burns

Thomas W. Burns, 78, formerly of Exeter Twp. passed away November 16, 2010 at 1:32pm at Rheems Nursing Center in Lancaster County.

Born in Reading, on May 8, 1932, he was the son of the late Charles A. and Rachel (Moyer) Burns. He was the husband of Mary E. (Cassarly) Burns.

Mr. Burns was employed at STV Inc. in Douglassville, PA as a Photographer/Printer for 40+ years retiring in 1997. He was a member of St. Catherine of Siena RCC. He was an Army Korean War Veteran.

Surviving in addition to his wife is a son Mark W. Burns husband of Barbara A. Burns of Hummelstown. There are 2 Grandchildren; Elizabeth Ann LaVanture and Christine Marie Burns and a preceded grandson Ryan William Burns. There is also a Great-Grandson Braeden William Burns. Surviving brothers are Ronald Burns of Reading and Fred Burns of Laureldale and a preceded brother Gerald Burns.
