Thomas C. Hartman, 71, of Sinking Spring, passed away Thursday December 30, 2021 at 6:00 am at Penn State Health-St. Joseph Hospital. He was the husband of Constance E. (Wachter) Hartman. Born in Reading, Mr. Hartman was the son of the late Luther G. and Ruth (Clifton) Hartman. He was a 1969 graduate of Hamburg Area High School and was employed by Clover Farms for 20 years as a truck driver and yard jockey retiring in 2015. Mr. Hartman enjoyed going to the beach and casinos, loved history and trains, often riding the Blue Mountain Railroad on their excursions. He was an avid G scale model train collector. In addition to his wife, Mr. Hartman is survived by his children Jennifer M. Hartman, companion of Stu Strunk of Mohnton; Thomas R. Hartman, husband of Loretta L. Hartman of Robesonia ; Kimberly E. Hartman of Reading and his grandchildren Christine Fisher, wife of Tyler Fisher, Jonathan Hartman, Justin Rivera, Natalie Ruiz, Carmelo Ruiz, Gianna Hartman and Daniel Hartman. Also surviving are his brothers L. George Hartman, husband of Sharon Hartman of Hamburg and Richard L. Hartman of Mohnton.
Celebration of Life Tribute Service will be held at Bean Funeral Home 3825 Penn Ave. Sinking Spring, Saturday, January 8, 2022 at 2:00 pm. Amy S. Landis, Certified Celebrant will officiate. Interment will be held at the convenience of the family. The family will receive relatives and friends at Bean Funeral Home Saturday 12:30 pm to 2:00 pm. Floral tributes would be accepted or contributions may be made to the Animal Rescue League of Berks County 58 Kennel Road, Birdsboro, PA 19508 in memory of Mr. Thomas C. Hartman.
