Thomas L. Strunk, Sr.

Thomas L. Strunk, Sr., 91, of Muhlenberg Township, passed away Sunday, November 30, 2025 at 3:10 am at Berks Heim. He was the husband of Jean E. (Dugan) Strunk. Born in Reading, Mr. Strunk was the son of the late James and Evelyn (Bevitich) Strunk. He was a mechanic for various companies until his retirement. In addition to his wife, Mr. Strunk is survived by his children Thomas L. Strunk, Jr. and his wife Connie of Sinking Spring; Dawn M. Tyrrell and her husband William of Muhlenberg Township; granddaughters Gwen Epler and her husband Michael; Mel Zeiber and her wife Amanda Zeiber and great grandchildren Bianca, Kason, Brayden, Knox, Rashawn, Taniya, Jazmine. Also surviving are his siblings Herbert Strunk of Geigertown; Dean Strunk of Gouglersville; Joan Huber of Birdsboro; Judy Fix of Birdsboro and was preceded in death by James Strunk, David Strunk, Clarence Strunk, Martha Kappel, Nancy Campfield, Fern Fix.

Celebration of Life Service will be held at Bean Funeral Home 1605 Rockland Street, Hampden Heights, Friday, December 5, 2025 at 12:30 pm. Amy S. Landis, Celebrant, will officiate. Interment will follow at Forest Hills Memorial Park. The family will receive relatives and friends at Bean Funeral Home Friday from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm.
