Victoria F. Guthrie

Victoria F. (Fry) Guthrie, 91, of Reading, passed away on Wednesday, December 24, 2025, at Complete Care Berkshire. She was the wife to the late, Jacob N. Guthrie. Born in Wyomissing, Victoria was the daughter of the late Samuel R. Fry and Margaret T. (Thun). Victoria was a avid rose gardener, who enjoyed cooking and entertaining friends and relatives. She was active in St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church in the Altar Guild, as well as working on needlepoint.

Victoria is survived by her sons, Benjamin F. Guthrie, husband of Donna J. of West Lawn, step grandson, Andrew Kuebler, wife of Tara, and their daughter, Emily, son, Joshua T. Guthrie, husband of Susan, of Minersville, PA and her grandchildren, Teresa Guthrie, Sarah Quinn, and great grandchildren, Charles Quinn and Sarah Quinn.

In addition to her parents and husband, Jacob, Victoria is predeceased by her son, Matthew N. Guthrie, and her siblings, Barbara Gosch, Howard M. Fry II, and Thomas Fry.

A memorial service for Victoria will be announced at a later date at, St. Andrews’s Episcopal Church, Glenmoore, PA. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Victoria’s memory to St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church, 7 St. Andrew’s Lane, Glenmoore, PA 19343.
