Virginia Madara

Virginia M. Madara, 89, passed away January 4, 2011 at 11:59pm at Berkshire Center where she was a resident since 2008.

Born in Reading, she was the daughter of the late Marvin and Mabel ( Nagle ) Hohl and the wife of the late Ralph D. Madara who passed away September 28, 2004.

Mrs. Madara was employed at Camp Hosiery as a Supervisor in the Examing Department for over 20 years. She was a member of Immanuel UCC in Shillington.

Virginia is survived by daughter Judith A. (Madara) Forster of Reading. There are 2 grandchildren: Jeff Rissmiller of Springfield, Ohio and Karen Stehman of Sinking Spring. There are also 3 Step-Grandchildren and 9 Great-Grandchildren.

Other survivors include Brother: Marvin Hohl of Mt. Penn and a sister Jean Goodwin, a resident of ManorCare Sinking Spring.
