Virginia Leah Scheider

Virginia Leah Scheider, 88, formerly of Reading and Topton, passed away Saturday, March 14, 2026 at 5:24 pm at Phoebe Home in Allentown. Born in Philadelphia, Mrs. Scheider was the daughter of the late Edward G. and Leah (Swoyer) Wittig. She is survived by her children Joseph J. McNaney of Newtown Square; Karen A. Wimberg of Jacksonville, Texas; Christopher S. McNaney husband of Lisa McNaney of Broomall; Diane M. McNaney of West Reading; Jennifer L. Angstadt of Reading and her 6 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

Services will be held privately by the family. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Pennsylvania SPCA 350 East Erie Ave. Philadelphia, PA 19134 in memory of Mrs. Virginia Leah Scheider.
