Warren Bean

Warren B. Bean, 86, of Reading, passed away August 3, 2010 at 11:00 PM in Reading Hospital & Medical Center. Born in Reading on September 25, 1923, he was the son of the late David G. and Mary (Kulp) Bean.

Warren was a sergeant in the Army Air Force serving during World War 2.

Mr. Bean was a self employed decorator in Reading for 47 years. He also owned the Varsity Restaurant from 1955 to 1965.

Surviving are a daughter Karen (Bean) wife of Thomas Devlin of Havertown, a son Michael M. Bean husband of Peggy (Solecki) Bean of Reading, 5 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and a brother Herbert Bean of Cape Elizabeth, ME.
