Wilford Dean Walker

Wilford Dean Walker, 93, of Wernersville, passed away Friday, December 12, 2025 at 3:30 am in his residence. He was preceded in death by his first wife Betty (Ruppert) Walker and by his second wife Mary H. (Hunter) Walker. Born in Paris, Illinois, Mr. Walker was the son of the late John W. and Francis L. (Parsons) Walker. He was a member of Holy Cross United Methodist Church, Reading and was a 1950 graduate of Loda High School in Illinois. Mr. Walker was employed as a manager in the meat cutter department at ACME Markets in Berks County until his retirement. He is survived by his children Cheryl L. Gaul of Ephrata; Deanne G. Hamilton wife of Bradley J. Hamilton of Fleetwood; Dean A. Walker husband of Michele Walker of Blandon; his step-children Brad Schmidt,  Mike Schmidt, Tammy Schmidt his 6 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren and 4 step grandchildren. Mr. Walker was preceded in death by his siblings George, Vernetta, Gary , Vernelle, Sandra.
