Wilhelm Beer

Wilhelm L. Beer, 90, passed away Sunday October 9, 2022 at 12:47 am at Country Meadows of Wyomissing.  He was the husband of the late Anna M. (Nerl) Beer.  Born in Nittenau, Germany, Mr. Beer was the son of the late Joseph and Carolina (Raab) Beer.  He was of the Catholic Faith and was employed as a woodworker at All Craft Fabrication in Long Island, New York.  Mr. Beer was a member of the Knights of Columbus in Long Island and enjoyed watching soccer and playing soccer in his early years.  He is survived by his daughters Carolyn E. Zerkle, wife of David Zerkle of New Mexico and Sandra J. Beer-Edelman of Spring Township and his grandchildren Sandra and Anna Zerkle and K.J. and Dylan Edelman.  Mr. Beer is also survived by his brother Lother Beer of Lindenhurst, New York.

Celebration of Life Tribute Service will be held at Bean Funeral Homes & Crematory 3825 Penn Ave. Sinking Spring, Saturday, October 15, 2022 at 1:00 pm.  Amy S. Landis, Certified Celebrant will officiate.  The family will receive relatives and friends at Bean Funeral Homes & Crematory Saturday from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm.
