William Purnell, Jr

William Robert Purnell, Jr. 70, of Robesonia, passed away February 6, 2011 at 9:30 am in The Reading Hospital & Medical Center. He was the husband of Karon R. (Gromis) Purnell. Born in Pottsville, he was the son of the late William Robert Purnell and Bertha(Miller) Purnell. Mr. Purnell was a truck driver for Vanguard in Denver, PA. In addition to his wife he is survived by his children Carol Purnell, William J. Purnell and Bridget Purnell all of Pottsville and step daughters Evonne Schlott of Temple and Roxanne Bowen of Sinking Spring along with 9 grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter. He is also survived by his sister Bertha Hillman of Pottsville.
