Yolanda Torchia

Yolanda "Stella" Torchia (Molino), 93, of Shillington, passed away on Wednesday, June 4, 2025, at Penn State Health St. Joseph Medical Center, with her loving family by her side. She was the loving wife to Salvatore F. Torchia for over 53 years of marriage, before his passing on August 18, 2010. Born in Scranton, PA, Yolanda was the daughter of the late, Edoardo Molino and Fortunata (Monticone). Yolanda was an avid reader, loved to do word searches and will always be remembered for being an amazing cook. During her lifetime Yolanda worked for Western Electric and Ripple Twist until her retirement.

Yolanda is survived by her daughters, Francesca Fronheiser, wife of Allan, of Barto, Gina Torchia, of Shillington, her son, Andrea’ (Andrew) Torchia, husband of Kristen, of Leesport, her son-in-law, David McCoy, her grandchildren, Dante, Maurio, Justine, Melissa, Angelina, and great grandson, Luke.She is also survived by her sisters, Lillian Generose and Victoria Greco, and brother, Remo Molino, all of Hazelton.

In addition to her husband Salvatore, Yolanda is predeceased by her daughter, Lisa McCoy, her brothers Renato Molino and Dante Molino.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. John Baptist de la Salle Roman Catholic Church, 42 Kerrick Road, Shillington, PA 19607, on Saturday, June 14, 2025, at 10:00 AM. Interment to follow in Gethsemane Cemetery. The family will receive relatives and friends at St. John Baptist de la Salle Roman Catholic Church on Saturday from 9:00 AM to 9:45 AM.
