Annabelle Q. Stegman, 94, of Flying Hills, passed away Thursday, November 10, 2022 at 12:30 pm at Reading Hospital. She was the wife of the late Carl H. Stegman who passed away in 2008. She was preceded in death by her first husband Ira Y. Fake. Born in Bally, Mrs. Stegman was the daughter of the late Joseph S. and Elizabeth (Rohrbach) Quigley. She was a member of Huff’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Alburtis. Mrs. Stegman received her Bachelor of Science Degree from Kutztown State College and her Master’s Degree from Lehigh University. She was a Language Arts Coordinator for the Governor Mifflin School District for 25 years until her retirement. Mrs. Stegman is survived by her son Bret J. Fake, husband of the late Cindy L. Fake of Exeter Township; her grandsons Justyn J. Fake, husband of Lynn A. Fake of Exeter Township; Trevor P. Fake, husband of Brianna Fake of Reading and her great grandchildren Lilly, Leah, Anika and Ariella. She was preceded in death by her sister Virginia Q. Gunther and by her close friend in later years, Ed Yeager.
Funeral Service will be held at Bean Funeral Home, 129 East Lancaster Ave. Shillington, Tuesday, November 15, 2022 at 11:00 am. Reverend Charles S. Nease, Jr. will officiate. Entombment will follow at Laureldale Cemetery Mausoleum. The family will receive relatives and friends at Bean Funeral Home Tuesday from 10:00 am to 11:00 am.
