Bernadice H. (Cipar) Banks

May 29, 1946 ~ August 26, 2021 (age 75)


Bernadice H. Banks, 75, of Sinking Spring, passed away Thursday, August 26, 2021 at 12:27 am in her residence.  She was the wife of the late Ronald R. Banks who passed away February 12, 2003.  Born in Reading, Mrs. Banks was the daughter of the late Paul and Florence M. (Czartorynski) Cipar.  She was a graduate of Reading Catholic High School and was a member of Saint Ignatius Loyola Roman Catholic Church.  Mrs. Banks was employed by Healthsouth as a sterile surgical technician and then as a mail carrier for Tower Health retiring in 2017.  She love to read, spend  time with her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, fur grandbabies, traveling to the market and farms for fresh produce and playing solitaire, crosswords and bingo.  Mrs. Banks is survived by her children Mary Beth(Banks)Marello of Sinking Spring; Ronald P. Banks, husband of Dawn Banks of Muhlenberg Township; Lorrie A.(Banks)Matos of Sinking Spring her grandchildren Brandon(fiancé of Makenna); Skylie(Jesus); Taylor(Jorge); Mateo; Tyler; Nicholas; her great grandchildren Alexander, Cassius, Jazalin, Isabella, Isaac and her 10 fur grandbabies.  She is also survived by Melissa Strohecker-Smith a daughter from another mother, Polly, her best friend for 54 years, Pauline, Annie, Joni.  Many others have touched her life and left lasting memories and she will always love them.

The family will receive relatives and friends at Bean Funeral Home, 3825 Penn Ave. Sinking Spring, Sunday, August 29, 2021 from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm.  In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to American Heart Association, 7272 Greenville Ave. Dallas, Texas 75231 in memory of Mrs. Bernadice H. Banks.
