James Edward Grundza, Jr., 72, of Exeter Township, passed away Tuesday, July 26, 2022 at 2:42 pm in his residence. He was the husband of Candace M. (Kolcheck) Grundza. Born in Pittsburgh, Mr. Grundza was the son of the late James Edward Grundza, Sr. and Dee (Hotkowski) Grundza. He was employed by Halpren Industries in Baltimore, Maryland as a furniture sales representative until his retirement. Mr. Grundza was an avid Pittsburgh Sports fan and was a coach for Exeter Little League Baseball and City County Cardinals. He loved spending time with his grandchildren. In addition to his wife, Mr. Grundza is survived by his children Jeremiah C. Neighbors, spouse of Ben M. Reed of Auburn; Christopher J. Grundza, companion of Beverley Harrison of Exeter Township; Patrick E. Grundza of North Carolina; Kristen M. Templin, companion of Frank Kourt of Denver, PA; Brandy L. Grundza, companion of Brett Thompson of Exeter Township and his grandchildren, Brent, Drew, Christian, Hailey, Conner, Abigail, Benjamin, Makenzie, Nathaniel, Josephine and great grandchildren Wes, Wynter, Izabella and was preceded in death by Shane and Baby Jason. He is also survived by his siblings Diane Napper, wife of Milton Napper of Pittsburgh; Sherri Coleman of West Virginia; Jenny Teichart of Michigan; Sue Smith, wife of Sid Smith of Pittsburgh; Dee Dee Troiano of Pittsburgh; Joey Grundza, husband of Theresa Grundza of North Carolina and preceded in death by Jeffrey Grundza.
Funeral Service will be held at Bean Funeral Home, 6 Fairlane Road, Exeter Township, Sunday, July 31, 2022 at 11:30 am. Inurnment will be held at the convenience of the family. The family will receive family and friends Sunday from 10:30 am to 11:30 am.
