Jerimiah Williams

March 11, 1974 — June 8, 2020

Morgantown PA

Jerimiah Williams, age 46, of Morgantown died June 8, 2020 after a valiant war with pancreatic cancer.  He was surrounded by his beloved wife Alicia and their three boys Luke, Benjamin and Noah.

Jerimiah was born March 11, 1974 in Ilion, NY to Craig and Elizabeth (Sherman) Williams.  He attended high school at Madison Central School, in Madison, NY, graduating valedictorian in 1992. He was a three sport varsity athlete with a number of athletic and academic awards.  He graduated Magna cum Laude with a Bachelor’s of Science in Environmental Science from SUNY ESF and went on to earn his Master’s in Business Administration from Syracuse University.

Jerimiah married his high school sweetheart Alicia (Scarpino) August 8, 1998. They have three sons, Luke, Benjamin, and Noah all residing at home.

Jerimiah excelled in his professional life with a number of promotions and accreditations. He was Director of Performance Controlling at Siemens Medical in Malvern, PA for nearly 10 years before he was recruited by Arcadia Solutions from Burlington, MA to serve as their Principal Consultant.  In 2016, Jerimiah began his own consulting firm, Manifest Consulting, which specialized in health care software. Most recently, he was the Director of BPO Strategy for AmeriHealth Administrators in Philadelphia. Jerimiah was dedicated and hard-working with a gentle demeanor and quiet intelligence that inspired those he worked with.

Just as in his career, his character showed through his love of coaching.  He coached for many years with both the Twin Valley Soccer Club and the Twin Valley Lacrosse Club.  He spent several years on the Twin Valley Lacrosse Board and played a significant role in developing the sport in the community.  He loved playing soccer and was darn good at it but he absolutely loved the sport of lacrosse and always wished he had the opportunity to play as a youth.

His most adored treasures were his wife, Alicia, and their boys. His favorite past times were exploring new restaurants and watching movies with his family. He especially loved watching every moment of his boys’ soccer and lacrosse games. Throughout all of Jerimiah’s treatments, he made sure he made it to every one of their games.

Jerimiah brought such wit, intelligence, and humor to those around him. You were one of the lucky ones if you had known Jerimiah. A loyalty to his fellow man and devotion to family that truly gives you faith in the human experience.

He endeavored to be a model to his boys of how to lead a life of worthwhile pursuits and activities. He continued this path throughout the most difficult time in all their lives: his fight with cancer.  He fought with such grace and poise, never giving into anger. Always choosing love. He showed his boys and those that loved him how true character reacts to adversity.

Jerimiah also leaves behind his parents, Craig and Elizabeth Williams of Bouckville NY, a brother Aaron (Theresa) Williams of Manlius NY, a brother John Williams of Philadelphia, a sister Bridget Reilly of Bouckville NY, his mother in law Bobbie Scarpino of New Hartford NY, two brothers in law, Matthew Scarpino of Buffalo NY, and Todd (Shiela) Scarpino of Holmdel NJ, along with several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and godchildren.  He also leaves behind special friends Dave & Theresa Brown, and Brad & Kristen Davis which they shared many memorable moments and a great deal of laughter.  Jerimiah was predeceased by his father in law, Arthur J. Scarpino.

The family would like to thank the dedicated staff at Fox Chase Cancer Center, especially Dr. Michael Hall for his unwavering compassion and positive energy throughout Jerimiah’s care.
