Keith Traynor

On Tuesday June 1, 2021, Keith Edward Traynor, 65, of Shillington passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family after a year long battle with cancer.

He was born to Edward and Cyrilla Traynor on January 4, 1956 in Pittsburgh, PA.
Keith was a loving father, grandfather and friend to everyone. He leaves behind two sons, Gabe and Kristopher, as well as his adopted sons Brett and Austin. He also leaves behind his 4 grandchildren, Hailee, Jaylyn, Evan and Luke. He is survived by his siblings, Kevin, Nancy, Kim, Kristine, and Kate.

Keith was a successful entrepreneur owning his own business for many years. He was an avid motorcycle lover and car aficionado.

His family affectionately called him ‘Pap’ and will remember him as an incredibly generous man who opened his heart and door to anyone in need. He was an amazing father and the type of dad you could count on and trust and who would be there for you and loved you unconditionally. His quick wit and dry sense of humor always made him enjoyable to be around. He was a great cook and loved nothing more than cooking for his family especially during holidays.

He made everyone around him feel welcome and at ease and will be remembered fondly and missed dearly by his family and friends.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. John’s Baptist de la Salle, 42 Kerrick Rd., Shillington, Wednesday, June 9, 2021 at 10:00am.  The family will receive friends and relatives in St. John’s on Wednesday from 9:00 am to 10:00 am.  Bean Funeral Homes, Shillington is in charge of arrangements and online condolences may be made at www.beanfuneralhomes.com.
