Obituary

Margaret Hartman, 102, of Shillington, passed away on Tuesday, July 19, 2022, at Phoebe Berks. She was the loving wife to Charles A. Hartman, for over 50 years, before his passing in February 6, 2001. Born in Manhattan, New York City, she was the daughter of the late, Henry Strunk and Tillie (Worschitz).

Margaret is survived by her niece, Gertrude J. Sheetz, of Reading.

In addition to her husband Charles A., Margaret is predeceased by her son, Charles G. Hartman, who passed away on January 14, 2014, and her brother Henry Strunk.

Funeral service for Margaret will be held on Monday, July 25, 2022 at Bean Funeral Home, 3825 Penn Ave, Sinking Spring, at 11:00 AM. Amy Landis, Certified Celebrant to officiate. Interment will follow in Gethsemane Cemetery. The family will receive relatives and friends in Bean Funeral Home, Sinking Spring, on Monday from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM.
