Obituary

               Nelson W. Freyling, 92, of Cumru Township passed away on Friday, July 22, 2022 in the Reading Hospital.  Born in Phillipsburg, New Jersey he was the son of the late S. Helen (Salter) and Allen J. Freyling.  Mr. Freyling was the husband of Virginia S. (Rogers) Freyling, together they shared 64 years of marriage.  He was a member of Lincoln Park United Methodist Church for 60 years.  Mr. Freyling proudly served his country in the United States Air Force during the Korean War.  He worked as an Insurance Salesman for Prudential for 36 years.  Mr. Freyling repaired antique clocks, enjoyed traveling, and visiting his summer home in Virginia.

                In addition to his wife, Virginia, Mr. Freyling is survived by his son, Gregg A. Freyling, fiancé of Mary Beth Marello of Bethlehem, Diane, wife of Scott of Simi Valley, CA, and his grandchildren, Skyler, Irelyn, and Lauren.  He is preceded in death by his son, Scott A. Freyling and his sister, Naomi Sullivan.

                A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in honor of Nelson W.
