Rosemary Boltz

Rosemary Grace (Keefer) Boltz, 79, of West Lawn, PA., passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday June 30, 2021, in the care of her family and Right At Home Care aids.

Rosemary was born on August 27, 1941 in Union Square, near White Oaks, between Manheim and Elizabethtown, PA.  She was the fourth of six children born to the late Lester S. and Lois (McCulloh) Keefer.

Rosemary grew up on a farm in White Oaks, Lancaster County. She started her education in a one room school house. Later she attended school in Manheim, PA., graduating from Manheim Central High School in 1959. Subsequent to her employment at IBM and the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Rosemary completed coursework in psychology at Albright College in Reading, PA. She will be greatly missed by her entire circle of family and friends, especially by her companion of forty years, Salvatore Natoli.

Rosemary is survived by two sons, James L. Fischer, Jr (wife Rebecca) of Lititz and William A. Fischer (wife Jennifer) of Norcross, GA and by two daughters, Kathleen M. Bond (husband Kerry) of Lenhartsville and Susan E. Ciferri (husband Robert) of West Lawn. Additionally by her sister Inez Tomlinson (husband George) of Manheim and brother Lester S. Keefer, Jr., (wife Nancy) of New Providence. Rosemary was predeceased by brothers James and Samuel Keefer and by sister Helen Fackler.

Some of the many joys in Rosemary's life was supporting her family, caring for her parents, raising her children and playing with her grand children. She enjoyed gardening, baking, bus trips and dinner theaters. She was kind and gracious.She was highly devoted to the Catholic faith. Being a firm believer in a Christian education, Rosemary enrolled her children at Sacred Heart Church and volunteered at the school when possible.

In high school and following graduation she worked as a waitress at Host Farms and the Village Pantry. She also worked as a secretary at Raybestos Raymark in Manheim. Later Rosemary worked as a welfare caseworker for the State of Pennsylvania and as an administrative assistant and advocate for the IBM corporation.

A Prayer Service will be held at the convenience of the family at the Chapel of St. George at Gethsemane Cemetery Mausoleum.  Inurnment will follow.
