Ruth Seyler

Ruth M. Seyler, 96, of Spring Township, passed away on Wednesday, March 24, 2021 at Berks Heim. She was the beloved wife of Haldane R. Seyler whom passed away on November 10, 2001. Born in Sinking Spring, she was the daughter of Harry E. Nonnemacher and Edith M. (Klopp). Ruth was a graduate of Sinking Spring High School Class of 1942. She was a Co-owner and Bookkeeper for Dries Paint & Hardware in Reading for 60 years, retiring in 2003. During her free time she enjoyed fishing, gardening, needle work and crossword puzzles.

Ruth is survived by her sons, Bryan H. Seyler, husband of Pauline, of Sinking Spring; Craig G. Seyler, husband of Sue, of Fleetwood; grandchildren, Steven, Tina, Stacey & Corey; and 6 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her siblings, Katherine, Stanley, Evelyn, Dorothy, and Donald.

Funeral Service will be held at Bean Funeral Homes 3825 Penn Ave. Sinking Spring, PA 19608 on Thursday, April 1, 2021 at 10:00am. Interment will follow at Sinking Spring Cemetery. The family will receive relatives and friends from 9:30am-10:00am. Flowers or contributions to an organization of your choice in memory of Ruth M. Seyler may be made.
