Spring Township, PA

Thomas E. Readdy, 57, of Spring Township, went to be with Jesus Christ, his Lord and Savior, on Tuesday October 12, 2021 at 6:48 pm in his residence, surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of Lolita A. (Reber) Readdy. Born in New Brunswick, New Jersey, Tom was the son of Richard E. Readdy and the late Cathleen G. (Bickler) Readdy. A Wyomissing High School, Shippensburg University, and Saint Joseph’s University (MBA) graduate, Tom spent 27 years of his career in Banking. In his most recent position, he served as President/CEO of The Performance Group in Ephrata, where he worked with three of his children.

A devoted follower of Jesus Christ, Tom led a Friday morning Men’s Bible Study and served as a youth ministry small group leader at GT Church for many years.  A hallmark of Tom’s life is that he loved Jesus and he loved his family.  Always the life of the party, Tom brought smiles and laughter to every family gathering. Tom was a mentor, an encourager, a servant-leader, who derived his greatest joy from cheering on the people around him.  Tom cared deeply for his family and loved ones; His legacy of love will live in the hearts of all those who knew him.

Tom is survived by his children: Patrick T. Readdy, husband of Jessica D. Readdy of Wyomissing; Nicholas J. Readdy of Malvern; Joseph R. Readdy, husband of Jocelyn A. Readdy of Spring Township and Elizabeth C. Readdy of Spring Township.  Also surviving are his siblings Cathleen M. Wiencek, wife of Anthony J. Wiencek of Fleetwood; Susan J. Hughes, wife of R. Scott Hughes of Collegeville; Dianne C. Konnick, wife of Christopher M. Konnick of Brecknock Township; Richard A. Readdy, husband of Jeannine J. Readdy of New Holland and James F. Readdy, husband of Jean J. Readdy of Spring Township. He is also survived by an extended family of aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews and nieces
