Wayne Cumiskey

Wayne R. Cumiskey, 78, of Reading, passed away on Wednesday, May 11, 2022 in Reading Hospital. Born in New Jersey, he was the son of the late Marie (Klemm) and Edward Cumiskey. Wayne was the beloved husband of Peggy E. (Bowers) Cumiskey. They shared almost 4 years of marriage but were soulmates from the beginning. Wayne received his Bachelor’s degree and practiced as a Registered Nurse. He worked for Sanofi-Aventis as a Director of Regulatory Affairs for 46 years, before his retirement in 2012/2013. Wayne attended Calvary Chapel of Chester Springs. He was a judo enthusiast and taught at his own judo school. He enjoyed gardening and had beautiful rose bushes, he also collected rocks from around the country throughout his life. Wayne was a beautiful person with a big heart and a good friend to all.  He will be greatly missed.

In addition to his wife, Peggy, Wayne leaves behind his brother, Dennis Cumiskey, husband of Barbara, and several nieces and nephews of Sarasota, FL., sons, Michael and Tommy, and his beloved Yorkies.

A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, June 2, 2022 at 11:00 am in Calvary Chapel of Chester Springs, 217 Dowlin Forge Road, Exton, PA 19341.
